I interviewed at Western Union (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
I recently completed a four-round interview process.
The first round focused on coding skills, where I was presented with a coding challenge. The second round was a system design interview, where I was asked to design a large-scale system. Finally, the third round was a behavioral interview, where I discussed my past experiences and how they relate to the role.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Western Union (Santa Ana, San Jose) in Jan 2020
Interview
Management could be improved, especially in terms of transparency regarding promotions. In the past, I excelled in a test, but my colleague who failed the same test, was later promoted. It appears that management selectively favors friends and disregards objective testing results, which feels quite unfair
