I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Western Union (Pune) in Jun 2017
Interview
The interview process was pretty swift I must say and it involved a technical quiz based on my expertise and experience , followed by technical discussion with the hiring manager.
The Recruitment Team had been following up every now and then and had kept me posted about the timings and the venue of the interview.
First round was an online test containing questions from the area of my work. Post success of that I went through a telephonic round of interview where the recruitment team and explained my area of expertise and similar questions were asked related to my aspirations and why am I looking for a job change and others.
Once the profile was shortlisted I was then scheduled a meet with the Hiring Manager and give a technical round of interview. The support at the interview venue was awesome and before the technical round all candidates were shown a video clip about the company and culture.

I applied online. I interviewed at Western Union (Pune) in Jul 2017
Interview
I applied online, received a call from the recruiter with few days of my application. He confirmed that in a few days, I will be informed for the next round. After about 10 days, I got a call and I was asked to come down to their temporary site in Pune. The APAC TA head showed us two presentations about the company strategy, culture, mission and vision.Post that, I was taken to a room where the functional manager was to interview me. The interviewer was quite cooperative. He asked me about my experience in the past role. He was calm and gentle. He knew what to ask for the role I was to be hired which is what I liked the most. The interview went for around 20 minutes after which he gifted me a pen and expressed his pleasure to interview me. There was no other round ( HR for example). I was told that I was free for the day. I followed up for the next two weeks on the further process over calls and email. I was informed that the process would take a tad more time because they were hiring for multiple roles. On the third week after my personal round, I was told that I will be interview with their Director based out of US over a call on Saturday morning. I received no email confirmation for this. I woke up and kept waiting for three hours on a Saturday morning but I never received a call. I followed up with the TA Team on Monday, they responded that I was not reachable. I asked them to reschedule the call if that was possible because my whole weekend went wondering why I wouldn't have got that call. After that the TA Team stopped responding to any of my emails. To this I wrote to their APAC TA Head about my unpleasant experience and the next day I got a regret email and a call.
To summarise they were quite unprofessional and I would never suggest anyone looking for a middle management role to waste his time in dealing with them.
