I applied online. I interviewed at Wolt (Berlin) in Oct 2023
Interview
First step of the interview process was a call with the team lead. He introduced himself and the company, and asked me to do so as well. Then, we did a short data science case to walk him through my thought process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview was very focused on AB testing. I was given a business problem and asked how would I test this, how would I choose the main variable, the testing method, the test duration, ..., how would I analyze and present the results
I applied online. I interviewed at Wolt (Helsinki, Südfinnland)
Interview
The process was transparent and respectful, both, of me and my time. The process seems to be overall quite lengthy (I barely made it half way through - one 30-minute HR interview plus one 1.5-hour semi-technical interview and there would have been quite a bit more to come: assignment plus another two interviews as far as I understood) but it convinced me it is done so to ensure high standards. It was overall one of the most positive recruitment experiences I have had so far (excluding the end result :)). The HR employee specializes in recruitments for data science/machine learning/data engineering positions and seemed to understand very well the tech stack. Technical recruiter was a knowledgable, very friendly and likeable person that seemed to know what they want as well as genuinely care about what I wanted from them. I'd say that, overall, they seem like they know what they are doing.

Question 1
Broadly speaking, questions were along the lines of what have I done till now (to various levels of details), why I want to join, what I want for my future career and things that are important for me or would potentially make me unhappy in a workplace.
