I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at World Bank Group (Abuja, ) in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview was short. All the questions that were asked were related to the TOR for the position. The interviewers were warm and quite friendly. From the expression of the Team Lead I could tell that I was doing well. Within two weeks I was offered the position.

Question 1
I can't remember most of the questions, but the one that stood out was related to how I planned to sustain stakeholder engagement in the mentioned project.
The interview process has three stages: CV screening for initial acceptance, a first interview to assess general fit and skills, and a final, more technical interview to evaluate in-depth expertise and suitability for the role.
Straight-forward, efficient, focus on ability to speak multiple languages. Didn’t get to meet people from different teams that you would be working with, but overall a good experience and fairly standard set of questions.

What is your experience in conducting quantitative research?
I applied in-person. I interviewed at World Bank Group
Interview
It was direct hiring, which is a pretty common practice. I have been working for other international organizations before, like de IADB, so one thing led to another. In professional terms, it felt like a natural progression.
