It was a stage 1 meeting before the main interview with the hiring manager so it was more of interest and fit for the job. It provided valuable insight into the organization.

Question 1
Trip of 10 people, what role would you play? If one member suggests a spontaneous detour to see a festival, what would be my approach?
I went through 3 rounds of interviews. The first was virtual on HireVue. The remaining interviews were all conducted in a panel format with 4-5 panelists taking turns asking questions. I went through 2 additional rounds of interviews and was asked to produce a writing sample on a specific prompt.

Question 1
Why do you want to work at the World Bank? What are the main development challenges in X country? If I were leading the country strategy development process, which stakeholders would I consult with? Other behavioral questions such as how you manage conflict in the workplace.
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at World Bank Group
Interview
Long -- submitted an application in July and got the offer 5 months later, with three rounds of interviews, including a financial modeling test. Maybe more intense than other analyst positions as haven't heard of others doing modeling tests. 1st round - Online Hirevue 5 questions and financial test (accounting and simple projections). Have different stories prepared, I felt like I was reusing the same one. Don't mess up the time zones as you only have a few days to complete after the initial notification. 2nd round - financial modeling test (1.5hrs) followed by panel interview. Asked to walk through modeling test and answers to questions at the end. No financial questions during the panel interview, no brainteasers. Financial modeling test was not easy (for me) but no surprises. 3rd round - with top manager, 1 hour deep-dive into your experiences. What are your weaknesses, strengths, etc. Impressed with the calibre of people and questions throughout.
