A pretty straightforward process with a panel of two team members, each asking questions pertaining to their own field of expertise. Overall very fair with no trick questions. The interviewers asked questions about specific sectoral challenges as they related to the job in question.

Interview
I applied for an IA position within an industry team in DC in 2021.
There were mainly three processes after you submit your resume.
The first round is HireVue interview and an online financial analysis exam. In the HireVue interview, you will be asked three questions: Why you want to join IFC, How do you deal with a conflicted situation, and another general behavioral question about teamwork. It won't be a big deal as you will be allowed to re-record for once if your first attempt wasn't great. For the exam, you will be given a financial statement and some assumptions in projected year, then asked to answer questions like: Calculate ROE in the latest FY, sales CAGR in the past three years, net income in the third projected year, etc. You will be given 90 minutes to answer 25 questions but it only took me 50 minutes to finish. Questions are fairly easy but I think you will be expected to answer all of them correctly. One thing to note is that you cannnot use excel - at somehow they will detect when you leave your window.
A week after I submitted my Hirevue and exam, I was invited to the second round - a panel interview. There were three interviewers, two senior investment officers and one industry specialist. The interview lasted for one hour. Apart from general questions, IOs mainly asked technical questions regarding financial knowledges and IS asked me questions on sectors the team is covering.
I was invited to the final round a week after I had the panel interview. The interviewer was the manager of the team I was applying for. It was a 30-minute interview, of which 20 minutes were spent for questions from me to the manager. The manager asked me only three general questions and it seemed like they had already made up their mind to give me the offer after the second round.
