Online based test. It takes about 3 months to participate in the competition and you need to compete with other people within your region to get a part-time offer. Leadboard is demonstrated on the website, so you could check how you performed compared to others.
It is very easy once you reach 10k points in Worldquant brain challenge they invite you for the interview followed by background check which is very easy and straightforward simply submit 6-7 alphas and you will be eligible for the interview

It was based on a competition in which we had to submit alphas(which are a measure of how well your algorithm performs.) We had to generate these trading ideas based on how we researched, on the papers which were provided by the firm.
