WorldQuant interview questions

An online test followed by 4 phone interviews of technical tests. Online test consists of 40 problems ranging from quick math, probability, and coding. Consists of 2 parts. First part is doable and some are just calculations. Second part is quite hard and the questions are individually timed so you should prepare for exact and fast calculations. Time goes way fast for just coming up with the idea. Phone interviews were also mostly math problems. 4 questions per interview. Some background check and explanation of the work.

I was contacted by a headhunter who found me on linkedin. When I showed interest I had a skype interview with another recruiter. Afterwards I got a message from the head of the Budapest office to complete an online math test. When I did that the next day I was notified that I passed the test and so was invited for another skype interview with the head of the office. We started friendly, he asked me about my background in math, we talked a bit, then he asked about my background in data analysis and programming. I started my answer on this topic and rather abruptly he just told me that he is not interested in hiring me, and he would not hire anyone without knowledge and experience in finance anyways. Then he was bragging a bit that he recently refused a guy with two phds and he told me that he does not think I would get a job anywhere.
