I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WorldQuant (Singapur) in Nov 2024
Interview
round 0: OA (3hr) - Math, Stats, ML.
round 1: Interview with the researchers. CV run thru, explain projects, answer questions regarding math, stats, ML
round 2: Interview with the researchers. CV run thru, explain projects, answer questions regarding math, stats, ML
Participated in IQC; International Quant Championship, got into Top N (rather would not specify) and had relatively fewer interviews (around 3~4) than the usual. The questions were very specific and required very deep understanding of quantitative knowledge including math, statistics and computer science.
Include 3 rounds: CV Screening -> Math test -> Interview. The CV Screening is very tough, only qualified candidates would be shortlisted and moved to next round. The math test is not easy, the candidates need to review their math knowledge to be able to answer more than 60% question.
In the interview round, the interviewers ask about math problem (mine is statistic and probability, use both pure math and monte-carlo simulation to solve it), and 1 coding question (not very hard, about easy-medium on leetcode)
