Questions were about my advising philosophy, how I prioritized my workload, what I knew about the university, why I wanted the position, examples of times I solved problems with students.
Very general questions relating to strengths/weaknesses, your experience, etc.
I've been through many academic interviews before, so this wasn't anything unexpected. The usual: 1) Tell me about a difficult conversation you had to have with a student. 2) Should you treat adult learners the same as you would treat traditional students? Why or why not? 3) Would you have trouble enforcing a university policy you don't agree with? Standard questions for an administrative academic affairs position.

There is a student who was taking courses so he could get a promotion at work. He ends up getting the promotion anyway and doesn't feel he has to finish his degree. How would you change his mind?
