The most odd question was from their CEO who asked me (after my 2nd interview meeting with him) if I had any prior controller experience. It became very obvious that he had not actually reviewed my resume nor could he recall my initial meeting with him as he would have known that I had 15 years controller experience (as well as a CPA and MBA) and would have been perfect for the role.
