HR > Hiring Manager > Case Study w/ Hiring Manager
The reason for my bad review is simple: It took them more than 1 month to get back to me after presenting the case study. HR went radio silent after that last interview. I then reached out the the hiring manager after about 2 weeks. Did not hear back from her at all. Reached out to her again a week later. Got an evasive response and that I should hear from HR soon. It took them again about 2 weeks for this 'soon' to actually happen.
It's frustrating and puzzling to see how companies expect highly skilled individuals to keep being motivated and come back looking for job opportunities when they communicate so poorly. Even more surprising: the fix to that problem is easy. Just communicate regularly and transparently.
