My interviewer asked "Well, you didn't apply for the ALT role to start with, so do you even care about teaching children or do you just want a way to get to Japan?" It was pretty intense, and even though I did have plenty of positive things to say about teaching, the way that question was asked did throw me off for a few seconds!
