The question that was a red flag was they wanted a "estimate" of how much I was making at my current job. I didn't want to say but it was asked twice and felt like we just weren't going to get passed it and once I did I could hear the typing in the background and immediately "yeah we won't be able to offer nearly that amount"
General overview of experience but it can go in any direction, and the conversation can get lost. Expect anything and everything as the hiring manager grapples with uncertainty and can’t make up his mind. Also don’t expect to hear back from anyone. I received a bizarre, heavily curated response to my email. It was as if somebody else had written the response with a very high handed and self important tone to it. The whole experience went from one extreme to another due to lack of experience.
