I think she was a bit put off by the fact that I was currently working. She seemed to not want to pull me out of my current position.

Are you comfortable with no avenue of growth?
n/a. they didn't ask my any technical questions. They just want to know who you are as a person and whether or not you will fit in with the current team. Just be yourself and present with enthusiasm.
The interview was not difficult, however because the process was strange I felt uncomfortable. I needed a job at the time that is why I accepted the offer.
Very easy interview. We talked for about 20 minutes, trying to get to know each other. They were very nice and seemed like a great company.
Which do you prefer: daily repetitive tasks (i.e. characterizing thousands of samples every day), or coming in each day with new tasks where you can be a bit more creative?
