Case Study varied
The fit questions were very general, - Tell me about yourself. - why Bain? - Why consulting (I'm an engineer)? - Did you apply anywhere else? What do you think consultants do? I advise you on preparing all of the interview questions in Case In Point. Moving on to the case study. Since this was an internship interview, the cases were not as difficult as some of the ones I've seen in Case In Point. The interviewers in the first and final round were very friendly and were guiding me throughout the process. They gave me so much time to think about the answers and when doing long calculations (sometimes as long as 2 minutes). One case was about a new flight route, another was about a company's profit rate decreasing because of one of its products. The last one was about how oil in a specific country should be utilized and how electricity consumption can be minimized throughout the country.
