they used standard questions provided by HR such as "what are strengths and weaknesses", "where do you see yourself in 5 years", along with some specific job related questions
How do you work in teams and how do you handle communicating with different types of individuals?
I put "average" difficulty for the interview, because the first round interview was simple. I think they were more or less trying to make sure I was qualified to interview. The second round interview consisted of the senior director asking questions he clearly only wanted extraordinarily specific answers for. Because I didn't give those answers, I wasn't invited back for the next round. The interview questions were fairly straightforward, except in those cases I described above. So, you should know what a "soft 404" is, because that's clearly the difference between being a competent SEO and not, in DEPT's eyes. The other strange question had to do with advising a client on expanding into the European market. I can only assume the interviewer just wanted me to say, "GDPR," but I described a thorough competitor analysis instead.
