The most unexpected questions were during the presentation of the interview exercise where questions were asked that seemed outside of the scope of the 'project'. For example, if you wanted to accomplish XYZ, how would you do that? I was so focused on meeting the requirements that I wasn't prepared to think outside of the box very much. Having a good understanding of the platform would definitely aid in these types of questions.
Nothing stands out as particularly difficult question other than the SFDC project which was complex and time consuming especially if new to SFDC.
