In the first phone interview, I was asked algorithmic questions. To come up with an algorithm, and describe their time complexity. Questions included: Algos 1) You are given an array of n integers. If you take the sum of every two integers in the array, how many of these sums will be even? Solution must be in linear time. Stats 1) What tests do you use to test if your model is the correct one? 2) How to reduce the curse of dimensionality?
