The questions on the first call with the HR person were to talk about myself, why I want to work for the company/what I know about the company. Most of the talking was done by the HR person - more info about the company; compensation; career progression (they have three tiers within the BDR role with a CAD$5K base increase for each next level (levels 2&3)). It takes 18 months to progress to Tier 3. They set you for the AE track (which is reassuring to know). A few of the questions from the 2nd round were: - Tell me about yourself? - What topic you are an expert in? Can you explain it in simple terms? - Describe a situation where you disagreed with your manager, and what did you do? - Can you describe a situation where there was a project that was failing but you turned things around? - If you were given a list of 200 companies, which ones you would start with and why? The expectation, even though 0 sales expereince is required, that you are familiar with how BDRs do their work.
