Say yes you are in the hiring/interview process with a few firms even if it’s not true. “Are there any reasons you wouldn’t work for us?”...Just say no. Put a positive spin on how the experience could be valuable because of x, y, z. Even if you see no correlation say that sakes skill are valuable to have and link it to your future goals somehow.
