After I applied Online, there were 1) Recruiter Screen: Basic questions about your past experience, salary expectations, how soon can you start, Softwares you have worked on, kind of ads you have worked on etc questions were asked 2) Job Fit Interview: In this Questions were asked around your experience with various channels + campaigns and specific scenarios where you worked with data + problem solving. Few of the exact questions were: a) Tell me about a time when your campaign did really well, what was the objective, what key metrics did you look at , why did you think it was a success? b) What softwares, ad managers etc have you worked with? c) If we gave you a $100k budget to Advertise for Zapier, how and what channels will you choose to spend it? [They added saying there is no right or wrong answer to this question, they just want to know how you are thinking kinda like the interviews in Google and Amazon] d) What are the optimizations measure you use in your campaigns, help explain with an example and likewise 3) Take Home Assignment: This was an excel sheet with just 1 question in it where in data was provided for a certain flight date, broken down by placement and aggregate, along with Total Cost,CpC,Total Clicks, Signups, Activations,Upgrades and LTVPlacement. These terms were explained and in an “analysis - blank sheet”, we had to explain in a paragraph or two what’s going on, how we should react to it, and what are your recommendations for next steps. Two days were given to finish the assignment 4) If up until now things go well, the last round is a Cross Functional Interview, where you meet 2 people this time from your team- You give them your introduction, they ask question from your introduction, a couple of set questions from their end, which include: a) A similar question as the Take home assignment, on the spot that you have to solve b) An example of a successful campaign and why you think that was important c) An example of how you choose to optimize a campaign that was doing really bad and what was the ultimate result and likewise After this you get an email, "Update on Zapier Candidacy" which tells you the status of application. In my case I was rejected :(
