Questions in interview were basic but its hard to satisfy them. some questions : In distillation column does HT take place or MT. and explain why. what is relative humidity what is abs humidity. Explain carnot cycle(draw too), power cycle, rankin cycle. What is 1-2 in Shell n tube HExchanger. draw 1-2 heat exchanger temp profile. do we need reflux if we use infinite number of plates in distillation. why we do vaccum distillation, how to create vaccum. what is surge. is it possible in pump or compressor or both. is MT possible without HT i could and most of them but they were not satistifed with my answers. hope it helps whoever is going for interview .
