As part of the tests, we were asked to complete one where we had to assign capital to start up companies, based on information that was supplied to us about those companies and their financial performance. This was not very hard, but lengthy and tricky since it was a very new and unexpected form of testing. The interview however was quite normal, with no blind-siding on the questions front. Questions consisted of why RBS, why the particular role, 3 facts about RBS and the like. Competency questions included examples of teamwork and leadership, negotiation and persuasion.
