What experience do you have working with kids?
1. Asked about your knowledge of the company, your experiences, and a few questions to get to know you better like your favourite book, your impression of school, and why? 2. Asked to simulate how you'd interact with a child by playing a 'getting a car out of a parking lot/car park puzzle' game, and asked to give instructions, explain and how you'd break that game down for a child. 3. Asked to 'segment' or sound out the syllables of a list of real and made-up words 4. Asked to spell a list of 40 words 5. Given a math word problem that involved subtraction Overall, quite a straightforward, somewhat easy informal interview. It seemed a lot better and different than other regular interviews. Throughout the interview, we were able to have a pleasant conversation with a lot of back and forth dialogue, much better than a very formal interview.
Structured interview questions where the interviewer went down a list of standard interview questions, detailed questions about clinical experience with patient counseling, IUD/Nexplanon experience, # of patients you are used to seeing, etc. There were several behavioral questions to describe scenarios you have experienced. FYI There was a CLINICAL scenario where you had to explain the patient's results to them and subsequent management.
First part was standard interview questions. Next was several behavioral questions where you had to describe a scenario when.. They also asked several detailed questions about # of patients you saw daily, visit types you are familiar with, experience with patient education/counseling and IUD/Nexplanon insertion removal.
There was also a patient simulation where you had to counsel a patient on their test results and explain the subsequent management.
