One question that struck me as super odd was whether I was open to getting back into an industry that I had left the previous year. I mean... no, because I'm trying to get into SaaS/tech like this company, which I had already mentioned. It felt like I was being told — mid-interview — that I shouldn't be trying to shift industries.
When developing creative content for a new industry, what steps do you take to better understand that industry and it's customers?
Q: What is your favorite Adobe software, and how would you rank your proficiency with that software?
They were very collaborative about my start date, and were willing to work with me on choosing a date that worked for me.
