at moveo they want you to tell about yourself going back 10 years back to high school and talk about yourself, what kind of a student i was back in high school (mind you- 10 years ago), difficulties as a teenager, military service, university struggles and more,,, going very deep. i was asked at zoom meeting with the recruiter and at the office interview. i was asked for my salary expectations - even though they had a fixed number for this position which they revealed a minute later... at office interview we talked about the assigment (they didnt even look at my other projects/portfolio)

The question were heavily political. After answering and trying to stay as high level as possible, she continued to probe making me very uncomfortable. One question was: There has been a lot of political activity in the news, what are your thoughts on that? She was digging about how I felt about the gay marriage decision from the Supreme Court. Why did you apply here? What do you know about us? She asked me 2 questions relating to my actual experience - one about graphic design (software) skill (not mentioned in the posting) and another around the most strategic project I worked on. When I asked her 2 quick questions she was very high level so I knew she had decided they were not going forward.
20 minutes into the interview and the only question in regards to the position aside from the first one asking my for my name, position applying for and the state I'm living in. From Interviewer: "These are the basic requirements for the position; -Must be a U.S Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S -Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work. -Attention to detail and problem-solving skills -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Ability to network -Strong organizational and planning skills.
