On the day of my interview, I was given an introduction to the interview process by staff and they explained what would happen before proceeding to ask me 6 competency based questions based on the following criteria; Behaviour: Communicating & Influencing (two questions) Behaviour: Managing a Quality Service (two questions) Behaviour: Making Effective Decisions (two questions) I will not reveal the questions because that would offer an unfair advantage to any future applicants. However, they will be related to difficult situations in the workplace, such as how to deal with personal failure and late submissions.
There were 6 questions, but 2 questions per category which were; Behaviour: Communicating & Influencing Behaviour: Managing a Quality Service Behaviour: Making Effective Decisions I think the questions were based on my SJT results and those areas of weakness where I didn't do as well were targeted at interview. However, I overcame those hurdles and was offered the job. I am not prepared to share the specific questions as that would offer an unfair advantage. One must study the job description well and research CS behaviours.
