When are you available just weekends or weekdays?
After all this, I was offered a job 5 days after the interview. I went for a DOT physicall/drug screen. I had to have my cpap machine read which cost me $45.00 and had to see my sleep doctor to verify I was compliant with using it properly. My primary care physician had to verify that my medications did not interfere with me safely operate a vehicle. Two weeks later, the recruiter called and said they found something in my background. I told him I had disclosed that in the application and on my resume. He said he saw that. We discussed the felony, what I had done to ensure it was a one time event. I referred him to my attorney and other references. He said he would argue for me to get the job. The next morning there was an email eating telling me they were withdrawing their offer due to the felony. I took 3 days off for the interview, physical and seeing my on sleep doc/primary doc plus the report for my cpap. I was totally honest an upfront about my past so as to NOT have this type thing happen. It cost me time and money as well as their time and money plus they had to go back and start over in the hiring process. Fed Ex advertises themselves as "felon friendly' when in fact, they are not. They lie. They do not read the applications or resumes in depth. I have heard Fed Ex is a great company, I no longer trust nor believe in them as a company. They have a right to not hire me because of my felony, but they do not have the right to make job offers, string people along and then kick them to the curb when they have the info up front. Shame on Fed Ex.
