They really drilled down and asked esoteric questions like on how to change specific preferences in office and asked regarding experiences with powershell and windows scripting. I think the most unexpected thing was that they didn't ask many practical technical questions, brain teasers, or specialized knowledge that you would expect desktop support guys to be able to handle.
Quite unexpected, but pleasantly, beyond discussing the role and position, most everything around it was on the table for discussion and negotiable. This flexibility allows a candidate to feel more in control and part of creating details within their new employment setting which is a breath of fresh air.
