The on site, half day interview included a written chemistry test-mostly basic Chem 101 stuff. Then I was provided a sample to test using their lab equipment...super simple acid/base titration.
Where did you attend junior high?
They ask the typical chemical manufacturing questions: What is the most dangerous chemical you worked with?
Asked to describe the method development for GC-FID analysis.
What did you do in a situation where your coworker was falling behind or messed up? Would you tell the supervisor or give him a second chance?
The interview was a lot more about personality than technical expertise, got asked a lot of questions about family and home life.
