Questions 1. In brief, what do you feel are the personal qualities needed for this role? 2. In the School, we have peaks and troughs of learning technology support needs, and often, more requests than can be covered in one day arrive overnight – for example during the exam period. Can you tell us how you would manage these competing priorities? 3. Please give an example of a time when you have had to troubleshoot a technical problem regarding learning technologies for a member of teaching staff. 4. Please tell us about how the yearly academic cycle informs or depends on Learning Technologies and Digital Learning support activities. [teaching and administrative events in the academic year] 5. Imagine a member of staff has seen some new software and wants to use it in their teaching. Tell us about the processes involved and your experience of supporting a new application or piece of software in the teaching environment. [i.e. F.E., H.E. or schools] 6. For this role, there may be times when academics want you to update their course areas for them, for example re-ordering or replacing course materials. What approaches might you adopt to ensure that the academic staff do so themselves? 7. How might you go about sharing best practice between yourself and others?
