What is your leadership style?
None. They were standard interview questions which I answered honestly.
Why do you want to leave your current position to work with us?
Interview questions are fairly standard and vary depending on the hiring manager and department. However be wary of hidden meanings, such as are you free to travel 25% of the time which typically means 75% of the time. Are you free to work evening and weekends as necessary, i.e. on call 24/7 even during paid time off or hospitalizations.
As a Seasoned 16 years experience, all the questions were pretty basic and not very difficult at all.
There was only 1: Why did you apply?
To describe future customer service trends
1:1 w/ Hiring Manager - He spent a lot of time talking through my background, specific problems I'd faced, and how I worked through those problems. An almost equal amount of time was provided to me to ask questions, which gave me an opportunity to dive into their business and get a better understanding of what problems they specifically were looking to solve.
I was asked a variety of questions about different systems and processes common in my industry, as well as questions about my management style. During the interview, I also had the opportunity to learn more about the company and its future direction, which only increased my interest in becoming part of the team.
