I really do not remember any particularly difficult or unexpected questions.
With the HR person, you are gonna talk in general about yourself: education, studying abroad, stuff you did in school (group projects, that sort of things...). It's very thorough, though.
They asked me: - Why I was interested in joining WFP; - My experience with government partnerships; - My academic and professional background. They also opened up to my questions - I was interested in knowing about their lobbying strategy vis-a-vis governments to secure funding.
None of the questions were very difficult or unexpected: 1. Why JSI/interest in the position; 2. What is your work style (asked this after mentioning that JSI has a very flat org structure); 3. What is your availability?; 4. What do you want to get out of this internship?
Standard questions, "why are you interested in this position", "talk about some background experiences that will set you up well for this position", "what is your work style?".
