Describe your current role.
A typical set of "tell me about yourself, experience, why you want to work here" kind of stuff.
I was interviewed over the phone and completed a developer skills test with a module from a "client". Technically, I presented what I thought would showcase my developer skills and provide some ID skills within the limitations of the project they provided.
First the ID Qs: --Are you open to contract / freelance work? --What is your ballpark hourly rate? --What is your availability? --What authoring platforms do you have experience with? --Do you have an online portfolio or shareable samples? Then the PM Qs: 1. What type of engagement are you looking for? (What kind of question is this?!) 2. What 's your salary/ or hourly rate requirements? (This was in my reply email) 3. Have you ever worked as a PM in the eLearning Industry, managing multiple eLearning projects? (My resume outlines my experience) 4. What PM software do you currently use? (This was in my resume and in my reply email) 5. How do you gather client feedback during the alpha phase of development? 6. What's your QA/QC process for your team?
Why are you looking for a new role?
Describe a situation where you had an issue with your manager and how it was resolved.
What are your strengths as an eLearning Developer? Do you lean more towards the design and development stage or research and storyboarding?
Why do you want the job?
