What training have you had which makes you a solid candidate for the job?
How do you change directions of a three phase motor, how do you use a plc for trouble shooting, what experience do you have doing mechanical work in a factory, what electrical experience do you have in a factory, etc.
One on one interview was fun. Some of the questions were pretty standard like "what role do you take in a team" and "when is it ok to bend the rules". Other questions were pretty off the wall, "what do you think is the color of money?" and "how many planes do you think are flying over washington right now?"
The most difficulty that I encountered was not via question. It was trying to 1) understand the owner through his thick accent (which by the way got thicker as the BS got thicker,) and 2- attempting to figure out what he was trying to say when he would purposely construct sentences that made no sense so as to not promise anything.
