Basic project management questions - SDLC, sizing, etc.
Standard questions really that were fair and behavioral in nature. They had a genuine way of getting to know you as a person while honing in on areas like leadership style, tone, cultural fit, communications skills, etc.
Questions were too general and not interesting. The conversation was not engaging and it felt like the recruiter was checking off boxes.
Q: From concept to creation, outline a project you recently completed. Include your thoughts and ideas, what worked, what didn't work, what you would do differently, etc. Q: What are you looking for in this job? Q: Why should we hire you? Q: What do you think are the marks of a great Community Engagement Specialist? Q: How do you keep your skills sharp and up to date? Q: Tell us about a mistake you have made, the impact, and what you learned from it. (these were all of the pre-interview questions that I answered by email)

Describe why you're interested in this role. The youth face several challenges such as homelessness, working with DCF, food insecurity etc. You would be hearing about this continuously. How would you take care of yourself? Tell us about a different/challenging thing at work. Where do you thrive at work and where do you not enjoy your job? How do you give and receive feedback?
