The take-home assessment was a partially completed event scheduler. The implementation was to be secure, with no script / SQL injection vulnerabilities.
They provided a database schema about asked me to write a query for certain information
Tell me one thing you physically built by hands either for your university project or outside of university.
The questions were all very standard mgr interview except for the math portion. For that they asked a series progression question, (find formula for doubling a value each iteration), and then they asked how a person with ancient greek level of technology could computer the distance from the earth to the moon. They wanted an actual answer and to be successful it had to be within 5x of the actual value.
Perhaps making the tests pass in the online portion was the hardest part.
