For example, is this event focused on client retention or pipeline acceleration? What are the specific goals? What time of year is it? What’s the budget? Without these foundational details, answering the question feels like shooting in the dark, leaving room for misalignment and potential issues. As a seasoned marketer and event planner, I can certainly get creative with a theme, and I did answer accordingly, but the lack of context made the question feel disconnected from how events are actually planned. A more effective question would have incorporated strategic objectives, allowing for a response that demonstrates not just creativity but also practical execution aligned with business goals.
