How long have you been a Tour Manager?
I was told that they plan gay weddings and they didn't ask if I agreed but led the conversation as to why diversity is important to the company.
Minimal questions, I asked too many questions which they didn't like. Questions I asked: - What is the Interview process/how many stages? - Why has this position became available? - I have noticed a few advertisements for Event Producer/Senior Conference Producer, with a similar job spec, and different wage bands. Could you confirm if these are different roles? - Will travelling be expected? - Their response; The position has become available for three reasons: We just ran our first event - Pharmageddon, in Barcelona. It was a success. We want to grow this in the USA, repeat it in Barcelona and add an awards ceremony at the end of the year The producer we hired originally was not a fit for our company, so we've parted ways The above both mean we need to expand capacity both to replace a team member, and to grow the team. I'd then asked if the assessment was a paid assesment : to which I was told I'm the first person to ask so many questions - Ha!
Asked background experience and to talk about successful events produced
