The interviewer had not reviewed my resume at all prior to my arrival. I had to provide him a copy of my resume upon arrival and they took a few minutes to review it then asked a question I typically get in a phone screen with HR: Tell me about your background. I summarized my resume. What attracted you to this field. I provided why I chose to be in the field of Occupational Safety & Health.
The questions were pretty straight forward and the most unique question asked of me was to talk about a time where I felt uncomfortable in a work situation and what I did about it.
They asked what new new things i was bringing on board to the new entity.
What's a typical day for you on a workers compensation desk?
What is your past experience in banking and finance?
Q: Explain your ability to connect strategy with tactical work.
They seemed to ask me about my experience in depositions and civil litigation. It was a very casual interview process with no specific questions. They really cared about deposition and prior experience, which is fair.
Can you work with the new structure recently put into place
They asked me to put together a real life "case study"
What type of animal would you be?
