They use a list of questions for everyone to eliminate bias. There are about 20+ questions. During the process, I felt that the flow was quite fast. It felt like I was urged to get on a quick pace. They did say that I have time to think. However, when I was put on the spot and the interviewer talked very fast, I felt that I have to catch up with her pace. >_<! In terms of standardized questions, I understand their intention. However, I just have a doubt that when you have heard so many people's answers, naturally, you will set a bar or form a perspective on how the question should be answered when you ask the question. You are expecting the so-called 'on point'. When the candidate didn't provide an on-point answer, it doesn't mean the candidate doesn't fit. However, everyone's perspective is so different. Sometimes, a good answer may not appear to be a good answer in the first place. When you are actually doing the job, then you realize that the candidate might've given a good answer. It is just my two cents. Recruiting is hard. It is difficult to be perfect. Q. Tell me a time when you have a different opinion from your boss. Q. How can you keep the employees' handbook up to date?
