80% of the questions were centered around Amazon's leadership principles, and were either situation/behavior based. Answers which not only have substance in terms of quality of work, but answers which can be quantified/backed-up with numbers are preferred. Almost always, there are follow-up questions on the answers. So, it is very easy for the interviewers to catch someone who is merely fluffing around with stories. Other questions were mini cases: How would you have Nike/Adidas/Rolex to sell on Amazon? Amazon is looking at expanding into eastern Europe. What are the different aspects that you will consider? If you had to launch an idea of your own in Amazon, what would that be and why?
