My most unexpected question was from an assistant principal who recognized me, and who requested to speak with me about a position for which I had applied, but had not been given an interview. I was in the office for something else when she suddenly insisted that I speak with her, and that this could be my lucky day. She appeared satisfied with our discussion. However, she called two other supervising-administrative staff to "visit" with me. One of them was upset that he had been called away from where he was, and he exhibited a very negative attitude, over-questioning me to find fault with something in my response.
