It's been years since the interview so I don't remember specifics, though the common retail question "Give us an example of when you faced hardship and how you overcame it" was one of them.

Basic questions
Best/worst customer experience. Have/meet sales quotas/goals? 3 year plan. Tell about a time when you were late. What does good customer service mean to you? Favorite video game/system. Favorite subject is school.

This was my first retail job so I didn't know what to expect, but the only question I thought was a little weird was, "What would you do if you see another employee put a game in the trash?"

Why Gamestop?
Why do you wanna work here? Do you know what games are coming out in the next few months? What game systems do you have? Whats your favorite game? Whats your least favorite game? Whats 10% of 100? If a customer came in and was asking for reviews for a game you don't like?
"What Software are you familiar with?" was a question on the form but, the store manager told me to fill it out with my preferred game genres.
