The hiring manager believes in the DEI initiative without creating equal opportunity for the workforce. DEI initiative should be constructed organically vs, just meeting a number. The hiring manager must create a welcoming experience for all candidates. Her lack of couth and mean temperament were clearly reflected during the Zoom meeting!

They asked standard benefits manager questions and never seemed to be happy during the conversation. In this scenario, I felt like I was asking them more questions to get to know the company than they were of me.
