Via emails. First response was a very brief email asking about my residency status in Singapore. I replied promptly. Then I received another reply back asking me why I want to work in Singapore and what is my long-term plan look like, replied promptly. Then never heard back, kept following up a couple of times but no response. The process just came across bit strange and not sincere or professional, especially about the question which is about my long-term plan is more suited for verbal interaction than in an email. I would understand if this question got asked in the online application process, the standardised one. Then what is next is the fact that there is no response back after I tried to follow up a couple of times. I understand that there maybe a high number of applicants, and for some reasons cannot response back to every single one. However, I have been following up for few times and should at least let me know if it didn't proceed further. Since I am at least sincere enough to follow up.
