I was asked detailed questions about my background, which made sense given the very specific needs for this role. The interviewers wanted to understand both my technical knowledge and leadership experience, so the questions covered a broad range. These included technical questions related to the operational aspects of the role, leadership based questions focused on how I manage teams and drive engagement, and situational questions that required me to walk through how I’ve handled complex challenges or driven results in the past. The questions were thoughtful and tailored, which showed they had a clear understanding of what they were looking for and were intentional in how they evaluated candidates.
