The coding challenge was building a master-detail collection view app pulling data from a JSON feed and then storing it in Core Data. It needed to work on portrait for iPhone and portrait & landscape for iPad. Sounds simple enough... Most of my time was spent making the scrollView in the detail view play nicely with AutoLayout and getting all the labels to appear correctly inside collection view cells for different orientations on different devices. Only to get back one of the most disrespectful rejection emails I've ever received. Do not waste your time on this company.
