Basic evaluation of my previous experience. When I showed up at interview after driving 2 hours, the interviewer was busy on other call. I left after 15 minutes waiting. It was the worst hiring practice I had ever seen. Interview was at 11, and I arrived little early and people were just showing up at work. That was another red flag.

Tell us how you've worked with teams to get them to adopt more rigorous project management processes. How do you work with stakeholders that come to you with rigid pre-conceived concepts on how a project should be budgeted, scheduled, and implemented?

They asked very generic and repetitive questions that didn’t justify a six-week process. A few examples: • “Tell me about your IT background and past roles.” • “How do you handle onboarding and offboarding?” • “What’s your experience with security and compliance?” • “Why do you want to work at MinIO?” Nothing original or challenging — just the same basic questions you’d get anywhere. For how long they dragged the process out (including making me meet with the CEO), the questions felt lazy and unorganized.
